How is it to own the 2019 Chevrolet Cruze

The Cruze is a compact offering from Chevy that comes both as a 4-door sedan and a hatchback with a 1.4-liter turbo engine that has demonstrated a superb burst speed of 0-60 mph in 7.7 seconds. We checked out the Cruze line up available at Chevrolet dealer near Concord and the first look revealed that it has got some updates to the front fascia in 2019 including a new grille. The sedan comes in 4 trim levels such as the L, LS, LT and Premier, while the hatchback comes in similar trims as the top three as in the sedan. It has now many of the safety features exclusive to certain trims as part of the standard offering across all of them.

Sleek and Refined Exterior

The Cruze incorporates a futuristic pod design on its sedans giving it a sleek smoot monolithic design from front to back. The hatchback is just as sleek and adds on some sporty styling with the rear spoiler adorning the hatch. The available RS package can be added to the LT and Premier trims as well to give them a sporty look using black beltline moldings, a sport body kit, a rear spoiler and exclusive black machined wheels. Daytime Running Lamps, Twin-reflector Halogen Headlamps, power outside mirrors are all standard. The Diesel and Premier trims get bright beltline moldings, halogen projector headlamps with LED signature making is a matter of pride to own.

Comfortable and FeaturedInteriors

Great importance has been placed on comfort and convenience inside the Cruze to make it pleasurable to own. Seating materials range from Jet Black cloth on the basic trims to Leatherette on the Premier. Front Bucket Seats are again standard across the trims. The L, LS and LT trims come with some great standard fittings such as a 10-airbag system comprising of frontal, knee, seat-mounted side airbags and head curtain airbags. All trims are equipped with a Rear Vision Camera. Connectivity& Infotainment

The Cruze comes with 4G LTE WiFi Hotspot capability and Bluetooth connectivity out of the box. The 7-inch diagonal touchscreen is paired with Chevrolet Infotainment System 3 that’s ready for Voice Command passthrough, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Power and Performance

The 2019 Cruze comes with a standard 153-hp, 177 lb-ft torque capable 1.4-Liter Turbo 4-Cylinder Engine that uses Chevy’s Ecotech technology for better fuel economy. This is conjoined with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Concord Chevy dealer we consulted revealed that the Diesel trim comes with a 1.6-Liter engine that’s paired to a 9-speed automatic transmission which makes it cherished to own.
